Ellie Pritts “Joshua Tree: A National Treasure”

Ellie Pritts is an internationally acclaimed photographer and emerging director. Ellie has frequented the beautiful Joshua Tree National Park and its  700,000+ acres of surreal desert dreamscape paradise. Recently she has learned that the iconic Joshua Trees, aka Yucca Palms, are predicted to be dramatically affected by climate change: “There is concern that they will be eliminated from Joshua Tree National Park, with ecological research suggesting a high probability that their populations will be reduced by 90% by the end of the 21st century.”

Ellie Pritts plans on visiting and capturing the park’s unique beauty often, for as long as she can while continuing to capture all the natural beauty the park has to offer.
